2011 Clos René

Clos René is not a Château per se, although it is often referred to as such according to Bordeaux wine naming traditions.

"A chunky, corpulent, classic style of Pomerol, the 2011 Clos Rene exhibits lots of mocha, caramel, white chocolate and unctuous black cherry characteristics. The acidity is low for a 2011, but the wine's flesh and fat levels are appealing. Drink this well-made, heady effort over the next 10-12 years".
