2017 Pouilly-Fuissé "Clos des Quarts" blanc

Hvid Pouilly-Fuissé "Clos des Quarts" årgang 2017 fra Château des Quarts i Pouilly-Fuissé, Bourgogne.

The nose evokes aromas of white-fleshed fruit but also floral. On the palate, the wine is fresh, dynamic, elegant, with a nice saltiness on the finish. Persistent and well-balanced.

The Chardonnay grapes are vinified by Olivier and Dominique in the Merlin cellar in La Roche-Vineuse. Direct pressing, light settling in stainless steel tanks, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Aged for 18 months in barrels. Racking then light filtration before bottling. No gluing. 12.600 bottles and 120 magnums were produced for this vintage.
