Louis Armstrong In Scandinavia: Volume 1 - 1933-1952

This CD of entirely previously unreleased material is a must for all fans of Louis Armstrong and swing jazz! All these spectacular performances were recorded during three live concerts across Scandinavia between 1933 and 1952. With a supporting cast of some of the finest jazz musicians of all time this CD also features: Armstrong?s Hot Harlem Band and two different line-ups of his All Stars band. Packed with great swing jazz this CD contains 19 magnificent numbers which are being released for the first time. These are some of the earliest Armstrong recordings and the tracks recorded in Stockholm in 1933 are particularly rare performances.
