Papa Bue: Live At Mosebacke, Stockholm

Yet another gem from the Viking vaults - The Papa Bue Viking Jazzband vaults, that is. In the summer of 1970 the band had a gig at Mosebacke in Stockholm and the outcome is this. Until 1980 the Viking Jazzband recorded exclusively for the Storyville label, and now most of it happily is available on CD. However, not many live recordings were made - this is but one out of three, so grab it while you can! Live At Mosebacke is the band at its peak with founder members Papa Bue, Jorgen Svare, and Bjarne "Liller" Petersen playing for a very appreciative audience. This concert has never been issued before, giving you a unique opportunity to hear this rare collection from Viking Jazzband . Not only is it European. It’s exuberant and live. It's Danish at its best!
