Details The version 8 sensor shield is an upgrade from version 7 and is compatible with Arduino UNO, Arduino Leonardo, Arduino DUE, Arduino Mega and Arduino Duemilanove.The version 8 sensor shield now has an I2C interface beside the AREF pin and this shield has been updated to adopt to that change. So, what has been improved from the version 6 shield?The I2C makes it compatible with more Arduino boards.The output power pin can switch between 3V and 5V.The reset circuit has been changed in order for the shield to be compatible with Arduino DUE.
