Motip 1K Wash Primer - Red - 500ml - Flat Mat MOTIP 1K Wash Primer is a universal one-component etching primer, suitable for several uncoated metal surfaces, such as steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminium. 1K Wash Primer is recoatable with MOTIP 1K or 2K Primer/Filler. The etching action of the 1K Wash Primer ensures great adhesion of the next layers onto the bare surface. Usage instructions Before use, carefully read the directions on the packaging and act accordingly. 1. The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface. 2. Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample. Best processing temperature 10 to 25°C. 3. Apply 1-2 thin layers of the wash primer, respecting a distance of approximately 15 to 20 centimetres to the surface to be treated. 4. After use, clean the valve (turn aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for approximately 5 seconds). 5. The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer applied.
